10 Skincare Buys I Cannot Live Without

10 Skincare Buys I Cannot Live Without

I've always had trouble finding the right products for my skin. It' been an adventure, I'll tell you.

Bu,t I can say that I at least found some decent picks (ten, to be exact) over the last months-to-years.

1. Neutrogena® Hydro Boost Water Gel

It is so important to take off your makeup. Enter this magical product.

I have been using this foaming cleanser for years and I religiously reach for this after a makeup wipe or cleansing balm/lotion.

2. Garnier Skinactive Micellar Cleansing Water

Relatively new to the beauty scene, micellar water is a must. I prefer this over regular makeup liquid removers because it doesn’t leave an oily residue.

3. Mario Badescu Glycolic Foaming Cleanser

This product is actually my first from the famously beloved Mario Badescu line. In addition to its gentle foaming cleansing abilities, it contains glycolic which prevents acne and discoloration and supports skin glowyness and texture.

4. Skin Food Egg White Pore Mask

Kind of a new arrival to my beauty stash (I received it as Christmas gift). It smells pleasant and it tightens up skin.

5. L'Oréal Paris Pure Clay Mask Detox & Brighten

I was a bit skeptical about purchasing this one, as I hadn't seen face masks from this brand before. However, I am a big fan of charcoal face masks, so, after some research and review-scanning, I decided to give it a try. Thank goodness I did.

Oh and some say that this is kind of like the GLAMGLOW SUPERMUD® Clearing Treatment. Can't speak to that, as I have yet to spurge on a GLAMGLOW goodie, but it is something to think about.

6. Daiso’s Silicone Face Washing Brush

If you don’t know about all about Daiso, please go find one and check it out. Most items start at just $2.50! Including this silicone face brush. It helps exfoliate and removes dead skin!

7. The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil

I recently switched to tea tree oils because I felt it was more “natural” than traditional lotions. I've been scooping up this tea tree oil immediately any time I spot or feel a pimple coming on and within the next hours or course of days of application, the blemish has shrunken!

8. POND’S® Cold Cream Cleanser

I found this one way back when. It's terrific.

9. Eucerin Moisturizing Face Lotion Sunscreen SPF 30

This comes with SPF, which is super important! It won't cause breakouts either.

10. Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater

I am still faithful to this! I apply a few spritzes after or before I moisturize my face (if my face has been feeling dry) to give my skin an extra boost.

Okay, long story short, I am a little shocked I dished on TEN items in my skin care routine. As I get older, I am discovering what works and all these products are a testimony for me (along with a few favorites I'll keep forever). And some products I do not use every day...

If you read through all of this, thank you!
