3 Products That I Am VERY Tempted To Pick Up
I’ll be honest—sometimes I can be a pretty bad impulse buyer. If I feel like I need it, I’ll buy it. If it’s on sale, I’ll buy it. Heck, if it looks cute—you guessed it—I’ll buy it! Lately, I’ve started to dissect my buying habits and flesh out what I’ve been buying versus what I actually need.
With that, I’ve come up with some products that will fulfill a craving while actually solving a problem in my life! Win-win, right? Here are the top three products I’m really looking forward to trying out.
I’ve only recently started using matte liquid lipsticks, but have yet to try any of matte King Kylie's lipsticks. This seems like a great way to sample an assortment of her products in one go, without having to shell out money on the full-sized versions.
I’ve amassed way too many shades of red and pink matte lipsticks in such a short amount of time that I’m honestly impressed with myself—so I think it’s about time for me to step out of my comfort zone. As a person who’s never ventured into the nude side of the spectrum, I think it’s a great way to experiment with color. I have a weakness for rosy pinks and reds, so if the nudes don’t work out for me, I won’t feel too disappointed with my purchase.
During the fall and winter, I’ve always shied away from using powder products on my face in order to keep my skin moisturized in cold, dry air. It’s nearing the end of the summer, but with the ongoing heat and humidity, I want to be well-equipped to battle the remaining months of summer. I’ve never thought about using a setting powder before, since I generally have a penchant for creams and moisturizing products. However, after recently borrowing a friend’s setting powder on a whim, I fell in love with how shine-free my face was after application and put it on a list of things I actually need to buy.
After some poking around on the internet, I discovered banana setting powders, which illuminate and offset discoloration and redness—great for someone like me who wants to add more dimension to their face and even out skin tone. Since everyone was raving about the Bellápierre powder they’d received in their Ipsy bags, I’m pretty curious to try it out for myself.
I took one look at this eyeshadow palette and just knew I had to have it. I have an obsession with neutral shades, but I’ve been looking for some different colors to experiment with for the fall. Not only does this palette satisfy my neutral eyeshadow craving, but it also has some great fall colors—I’m in love with those purples!
Lots of people have been raving about how pigmented the shades are and I’ve heard about the shadows’ amazing blendability. However, I’m a bit wary when it comes to reds, purples, and pinks in the eyeshadow department—they can sometimes make me look sick. No, not the cool kind of sick—the “Are you okay?” kind of sick. I guess I’ll have to try out the palette for myself to find out though.
