5 Bizarre Scents That Still Might Make Their Way To My Beauty Cabinet
For the life of me, I cannot remember how I managed to stumble upon Demeter Fragrance Library years ago, but I am SO glad that I did.
While I have yet to actually purchase one of their products, I will admit that every few months, I have a grand old time poking around, exploring their many zany scent concoctions. I am ashamed of how much fun I have. Honestly. Plus, it might be possible to layer different scents together to create a new, unique smell, so that really adds to the already plentifull appeal.
Well, today I wanted to showcase the top five options that keep me laughing, alarmed and intrigued. Yes, all three of those things at once.
I love the smell of books. Old libraries are like heaven to me; there are few things I enjoy more than cracking open the pages of an antique novel. Creepy of me, I'm aware. Perhaps it's positive association or something, but this one just seems amazing.
Boy, I'm really flaunting some odd facts today. But babies smell great, right? Clean ones, at least. Someone told me that my thoughts on this are probably impacted by the fact that I am a woman of "child-bearing age" (ugh), so there's that. Anyway, this scent sounds delightful—as does "New Baby", incidentally.
3. "Elvira's Zombie"
Um, the idea of having a specific perfume to spritz on for every holiday is amazing and I cannot believe that this has never occurred to me before! Crazy. Think this one would work supremely well on and around Halloween, don't you?
On that note, I am now toying with scooping up "Candy Cane Truffle" for the holiday season. Temptation everywhere!
Feel like these would bring childhood memories of playing around in the garden in the summer flying back to me. Nice. Plus, the description for this is both brilliant and interesting.
This seems to be a pretty popular pick. And it's pretty simple to understand why; spraying this on will evidently remind you of snowy adventures. Or what you might imagine these to be, if you're from a snow-less place!
You have no idea how hard it was to narrow it down to just five. Go peruse the endless options for yourself if you're in doubt. May I suggest starting with "Earthworm", their Zodiac collection or "Junior Mints"?
