How To NOT Hide Under-Eye Circles: For Those Of Us That Can't Be Bothered With Concealer
Honestly, I am always on a mission to find fun new trends that allow me to embrace my natural laziness without feeling guilty. It's like the whole "shaving your face for the exfoliating component thing"; I like to lie to myself and say that is why I'm doing it, instead of just admitting that I am a light-skinned, dark-haired woman with a deep-rooted fear of waking up with a very serious mustache.
Soooo, imagine my delight in discovering that many Instagram geniuses were showcasing their undereye area in masterful ways and that I could therefore take a page out of their book and use eyeshadow under my eyes instead of on my eyelids (and hopefully distract the world from my not-so-secret non-concealer-wearing ways).
Take a look at my top three favorite examples.
Is this not insanely gorgeous? It is so sophisticated and interesting. I really, really like it!
Plus, all the focus is on the sunset-esque accent line, which means that no one would notice my borderline-alarming dark under-eye circles if I were to replicate this. Yay!
This is brilliantly editorial, like it was ripped from the pages of a hyper-fashionable magazine. It's also elegant and charming. Count me in.

I strive to sparkle as often as possible. While I do think that the tide may be turning on the latest era of magical makeup looks, I will wear continue to don them forever and ever—and this fabulous creation by Beenish Arshad only further fuels my fire to do so.
The whole look is actually very vampy-meets-vixen. Highly recommend that you give it a shot the next time you go out.
Chat with me about this on Twitter and Instagram if you're up to it.
