Imaginary Makeup Genie: What Products We'd Wish For
New beauty innovations emerge onto the market every single week and yet there are still not products for every imaginable desire or need. So, some of us lovelierie ladies put on our thinking caps and came up with a product that we need in our lives.
"I'd wish for a lotion that changed scents throughout the day! Maybe something light and fresh in the morning, something peppy and floral in the afternoon and something heavy and mysterious in the evening. This would replace three perfumes (and spritzing sessions!) while simultaneously soothing and moisturizing skin."
"I would love to experiment with different hair colors, but I don’t have the guts or the money to do so. My dream product would be something that changes your hair color in a super easy, healthy and real-looking way. Not like those sprays we use on Halloween that leave our locks all stiff and gross. And no, not a wig either. I want something that can replicate that ‘just out of the salon’ look, without the salon part. And maybe have it come with a special 'go right back to your original color' side product."
"I want a perfume atomizer type device that can instantly collect a scent and turn it into a wearable perfume. Cookies, strawberry jello, fresh spring air? Yes, please. "
"It’s no secret that I’m obsessed with lipstick. I absolutely adore shades of mauve pink, but love to throw on shades of dark red at night. When I went to Coachella (upon entering the festival they check all your items, even cosmetics), the security guard let out an exasperated sigh when she unzipped my backpack and saw a pile of lip products. It’s hard to decide, okay?! And I love having options, which leads to the inspiration of this invention; a matte mood lipstick! This lipstick would change colors depending on your mood (or plans), just like the mood rings we loved so much in the 90s. This would save so much money and purse space!"
