KareCo's Tangle Buster: A Brush Worth The Bucks
While hair potions, tools and products seem to hog the "hair care" spotlight, it is vital to also select an excellent brush for your hair style (and texture/volume).
Why? Because a sub-par brush can do wayyyyyy more harm than good, sometimes even damaging your locks. Gasp.
So, armed with this bit of knowledge, I was a bit hesitant to throw all my hopes onto this new beauty buy.
I'll admit, I was rather skeptical about what this brush could possibly do for me at first glance. It didn't look sturdy enough to handle my knots. Yes, I have knots.
Simply put, I think all of us can use and benefit from this brush. Let me explain why...
After a few days’ use, I realized that I really liked the size of the brush because my hair is long (waist length) and thick.
Another thing I enjoyed was the paddle, it's made to be flexible and moves along with your hair as it separates/detangles. The handle is rubberized and has a good grip; something solid to hold onto while brushing.
Even while brushing slightly damp hair, my hair did not feel like it was being tugged on! Loved this part. Not a fan of tugging, obviously. It also is a pretty affordable purchase, with a $12.50 price tag.
While I can't speak for its capabilities on fine or kinky hair textures, I can definitely recommend this for those with medium-coarse, long-hair.
As always, prep properly by dabbing on a serum to make combing through hair even easier.
