Magenta: 3 Ways To Work This Beautiful Hue Into Your Makeup Routine

Magenta: 3 Ways To Work This Beautiful Hue Into Your Makeup Routine

Magenta; it’s the perfect color to pull out when you're trying to make a splash.

I actually used this color lipstick to a friend’s graduation party and it was a hit. I had compliments coming in left and right about how this shade suited me so well!

Here are a few suggestions on how to incorporate it into your makeup routine.

Lipstick

Even better than red lips? Maybe! Wear magenta lipstick when you're on a confident, attention grabbing kick. It’s suitable for anyone and that is what makes it so beautiful!

Kat Von D made magic happen with "Neon Magenta" from her Everlasting Liquid Lipstick Line, for those days when you're on a "me" high.

I don’t recommend everyone rock the magenta blush, especially if you’re not good at blending. Since this is a highly-pigmented color, it is best suited for darker skin tones. If you still dare to try it, I suggest using a fair amount first and building the color up although you might not need that much.

MAC’s Wrapped Candy blush will do the trick! Just remember to take it easy. More isn't always better.

Eyes

Buxom's eyeshadow in Party Girl, will have all eyes on you. For another take, consider Eccentric Cosmetics' Loose/Pressed Mineral Eyeshadow.

Toodle-loo, I’ve got some restocking to do!
