My Least Favorite Nail Color of All Time (And Three Polishes That Are Sort-Of Changing My Mind)
For as long as I can remember, I have pretty much steered-clear of any shade of green nail polish. I always felt that green would never go with my outfits and that it looked a little... well... tacky.
Don’t get me wrong, I love the color green, just not painted on my finger nails. I have dabbled in wild colors before, oranges, yellows, hot pinks, etc. But I am not sure green and I are meant to be.
But, as we approach summer, I am rethinking green and may be willing to give it a chance after all. Here are three green polishes that I could somewhat see myself donning.
Truth be told, this a color that I would usually not give the time of day. But, it is an alternative to the typical standard green. This color is a great stepping stone into the world of green hued nails. This color is a more neutral green, making it suitable for parties, holidays, or everyday wear!
After searching for a perfect deep classic green, I came across this gem. This perfect green has dark blue undertones, making this shade deep and dramatic. This color is subtle while still being flashy. From the office to a night out, this color has the potential to be my new go-to-color. No wonder this brand is such a favorite around these parts.
After not considering green polish for my nails, I can now say that these colors have changed my mind. The next time I go in for my mani/pedi, I will keep my eyes peeled for greens of all shades!
