Positively Polished: Nailberry CEO & Founder Sonia Hully

From up-and-coming nail artists—à la Ophélie—to impassioned rants about the best nail shapes (stay tuned for the latter from Mariana), nothing makes us happier than chatting about all things nails.

Another thing we really enjoy? Finding new nail brands. And our latest discovery is London-based company Nailberry, which is garnering acclaim from industry experts and consumers alike for their vegan, beautifully pigmented products—including their innovative and chemical-free L’Oxygéné line.

Determined to learn more about this on-the-edge-of-being-everywhere brand, we spoke with CEO & Founder Sonia Hully, who incidentally just might be our new favorite beauty mogul.

What first drew you into the wild world of nail polish?

A passion for colors and the arts. I’ve always loved painted nails as the ultimate accessory, adding the finishing touch to your outfit. But even better, what’s more beautiful than a naked woman with red nails?

Which nail color shade (Naiberry’s or not!) do you wear most often?

Noirberry, Rouge and Almond.

Do you have any nail color trend predictions for us?

I’m seeing a huge shift into all things green and healthy. So green is definitely in the air!

What beauty tip(s) do you swear by?

I swear by the classics: Good sleep, drinking plenty of water and laughter!

Like we said, Nailberry is fast becoming a cult favorite, so you might want to keep up with their going-ons by following them on Twitter and Instagram.
