Sizzle-Status: Really Red Lip Looks
There are many beauty-related things that I like to yell about ("why isn't metallic blush a thing"?, sprinkle lips, earthy glam nail ideas...there are too many to list), but there is one cosmetic pet peeve that really, really grinds my gears; when people classify pink lipsticks as red.
Is this offense that serious? Nope. But it baffles me. Can some people really not determine whether a given color is pink or red? Sure, there are lipsticks that blur the line since they land somewhere in the middle, but just, I don't know, look at yourself in the mirror before you start spouting incorrect color identification.
Yes, this is a whole thing for me. Because red lips are a classic—and have been for quite some time—and they don't deserve to have their vampy, vixen reputation downplayed or diluted.
