Not too long ago, the exquisitely talented Daniela Renee wowed us by coming up with a lovely lavender look for a beauty assignment.

Well, we were utterly excited to be able to follow this collaboration up with an interview. She really is amazing.

We love your attitude towards makeup [" Makeup is the medium I use to portray how unique and captivating people are"]. How did this come to be?

Makeup is quite a powerful tool. We don't always look the way feel, for example a red lip is representative of confidence yet life can be so heavy that we develop hunchbacks. I'm not saying that wearing a red lip will give you great posture but it will help you lift your chest.

We often don't look deep into our eyes usually we just say we have brown, green, or blue eyes but when you are applying mascara you notice that your eyes are compiled of at least 4 different colours and different tones. Makeup allows me to see through people little further than skin deep.

You come up with SO many unique. interesting looks! Where do you typically find inspiration?

I get a lot of inspiration from different mediums such as architecture, tattoos, wildlife. I often think about what kind of makeup would have made someone feel empowered but did not dare to wear it because it did not fit the "social norm".

Even politics! Donald Trump decided to pull out of the Paris Climate Accord; I thought let's do a wild life series. So I guess life is great inspiration!

If you could only wear one makeup product from here on out, what would you opt for and why?

Wow, that is a hard one! However, I'd say Illamasqua Brow and Lash Gel. It just keeps my eyebrows put and makes them look bigger - makes me feel like Frida Kahlo. I would like a red lipstick to go with this too though!

What's next for you?

Well I feel that I would love my channel grow and inspire people, perhaps reach a point were I can create a dope palette with compostable packaging.
