#TestedWithLove: CIEN Q10 Anti-Wrinkle Night Cream
I wear sunscreen every day. I reapply it religiously too. I drink lots of water, I eat healthy fats and I take probiotics. And yet, I am already waging a war on a forehead wrinkle at the ripe ol' age of 26. Fun.
Oh and I have been using anti-aging products, including my beloved RoC® Skincare's RETINOL CORREXION® Deep Wrinkle Night Cream for quite some time. They have failed me, it seems (except that LAFACE’s BEAUX YEUX Beautiful Eyes Concentrate Intensive Cream; I loved that).
Am I afraid of aging? Not really. You don't owe others beauty or youth and I don't either. I do want to care for my skin properly though.
Anyway, I recently heard that Lidl's store brand, Cien, has one of the best night creams on the market...and THEY DO. They really do, you guys!
I bought this a few weeks ago and I have been smearing it onto my face every other night—I alternate between this and my aforementioned retinol cream—and it is spectacular. It's rich without being greasy. And it actually works.
The ingredient list includes Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin E. Both of these have been hailed by many a skincare addict in recent years and it is evidently quite the winning combination.
Want photographic evidence? No you don't. No one wants to see my forehead up that close, before or after. But if you insist, you let me know and I'll show you some, promise.
Now, getting your hands on this might be tricky if you live in certain areas, but you should be able to purchase it via Amazon or eBay. It's well-worth it, even if you are JUST looking for a solid night cream.
I will say that you really should stick with a less-is-more application philosophy. I think you really only need a little dollop, but people seem to go nuts and then complain that it feels "greasy". Eh.
I am really, really pleased with this one. Can you tell?
