#TestedWithLove: Glossier Perfecting Skin Tint

I am back with another product review! This time I am talking about the Glossier Perfecting Skin Tint. This cool little beauty had me feeling skeptical at first, but I must say, it sold me on the idea of barely there makeup.

My skin has two distinct levels when it comes to makeup or any sort of complexion product: go hard or stay home. Seriously. Either way, I’ve been trying to get better with going out makeup-free. I think living somewhere where I don’t know anyone really helps with that (I just moved to California).

Onto the review!

When I was selecting the color I think I might be online it was more difficult than I anticipated because I wasn’t to sure about how the product works. Luckily, they had videos that show you how to apply the product and a tool to help figure out what color you are. I selected “dark” which I think is a shade that can actually work for most people.

Because the product is so sheer, the shade range is a bit limited, so it could be a hit or miss with selecting a color, especially with lighter skin tones.

What’s interesting about this product is that it isn’t technically makeup, it’s actually a "skincare" product. This is very lightweight and very sheer, but I loved that it made my skin smooth and added a bit of radiance to it as well. It's great for those days I want a very effortless look but still a little enhancement to my skin.

I also tried this under powder and under liquid foundation and it laid beautifully under both! This is definitely for someone who wants to have their skin look naturally glowy without applying a ton of products and without the weight of tinted moisturizer. This is my product of choice for running errands or just relaxing while taking the occasional selfie on Snapchat!
