#TestedWithLove: Kapulet (Part Two)

#TestedWithLove: Kapulet (Part Two)

You may recall that I recently talked about the wonderful-ness that is Kapulet Beauty before I dove into the merits of some goodies that they sent my way. And today I am back with even more reviews. Yay!

Kapulet, my new fairy godmother, blessed my life with a Jane Iredale quad pack; the PureLash Extender + Conditioner, Longest Lash Thickening & Lengthening Mascara, Smooth Affair Facial Primer + Brightener and Just Kissed Cheek & Lip Stain.

Let’s start with the lash items. Not sure if I’ve mentioned this before, but in a…tragic after-party accident, I ended up breaking off some of my eyelashes. I…don’t really know how it happened, but don’t judge. So, my lashes are, well, a little lacking, let’s say, on the left eye. This happened a few years ago. They’ve never been the same.

I used the PureLash Extender & Conditioner and I think it really helped? My lashes are naturally pretty long and somewhat voluminous. Since I have begun reaching for PureLash, they are definitely returning to their normal state (thank God).

Moving onto the mascara. I really liked it. I’m very picky about mascara. I really haven’t used anything new since…7th grade. And I’m 20 now. Change is good, though! And this was incredible. To be honest, the mascara I religiously use (I won’t name names) kind of…sucks….it’s clumpy, and probably made my lashes worse, but I’m a very sentimental person, so…

This mascara does not clump. Let me say this louder for the people in the back, "NO CLUMPS!" And it really added volume and definition. Like, you could actually see my eyes. What a difference!

Smooth Affair is a really nice primer that smells super refreshing and it kept my makeup on and dewy-looking all day. I’ve never really used primer before, so this was a great product to start with!

The Just Kissed Cheek & Lip Stain smells amazing, like fruit candy, but was unfortunately not a good color for my skin! The texture is great though, so with the right shade, it’d be a win!

Next up, we have the Essential-C Cleanser from Murad. It smells like oranges and hope. Really though, it just feels so nice to wash your face with. Very refreshing and cleansing. I definitely felt like it brightened my skin.

My absolute favorite though is the Cucumber Gel Mask from Peter Thomas Roth. I came back from being in the sun all day and applied it to my burning skin and it really cooled me down. It felt so nice and reduced the darkened spots immediately.

I use this a lot, especially since it’s getting hot. California doesn’t know how to chill with the weather, it’s always flooding the streets or burning my hair off, so this is extremely handy.

Overall, I love this company and all the products they offer. These are of such top-notch quality, and if you sign up for the membership, the prices are so good. Like unbelievably good.
