#TestedWithLove: Laino's Green Clay Paste
Laino's Green Clay Paste came into my life is a somewhat odds-against-it way; purchasing it was an attempt to replace my favorite face mask-meets-scrub. But since I scooped it up on a whim months ago, it has actually really, really grown on me.
In fact, I now use it every week (right before my precious, precious CVS Charcoal & Black Sugar-Dual Action Scrub Facial Mask).
Apparently, this type of clay is kind of a miracle worker. You can use it on your skin and on your hair, though I have only tried it on the latter once and did so when I was in a rush, which probably wasn't the smartest plan.
I will admit that this clay tingles a little bit when I put it on my face, but it somehow doesn't leave my super, super sensitive skin red or blotchy after I wash it off. I think that this might have to do with the fact that it seems to be a pretty "earthy" product—according to the label, it is "naturally rich in trace elements and mineral salts".
Week by week, this does appear to be clearing up my skin a bit. But my favorite thing about this beauty buy is that it isn't laden with horrifying chemicals and that it is pretty no-frills.
Seriously, if you can get your hands on some, you should! I mean it! I am a really hard-to-impress person.
