#TestedWithLove: Sleek I-Divine Palette In Au Naturel

Sleek MakeUP is a British makeup company that I’m currently oh-so-obsessed with. My best friend was in London this summer and after checking the price of a palette I was dying for (and finding out just how affordable this brand is), I jumped at the opportunity to ask her to bring one back for me. And let me tell you, opening up that palette was like taking the first bite out of the most delicious slice of cheesecake.

The palette she brought me was the I-Divine Palette In Au Naturel and it comes with 12 amazing shades.

There are eight matte colors and four glittery ones, a perfect mix for me. As the name states, these shades are very subdued and natural, which is generally what I prefer for my eye makeup: a lovely mix of golds, browns, deep purples and blacks. There are 18 other palettes available from this particular line of eyeshadows, all with a varying assortment of shades.

These eyeshadows are mineral-based and the quality is top-notch. I was literally salivating as I applied the shadows for the first time. They glide on so easily and the pigmentation is great. The colors are really buildable, but you might not even need to add extra layers! I didn’t use an eye shadow primer, but honestly, I didn’t need one. My eye makeup did not budge. Didn’t crease, didn’t flake, didn’t disappear. It stayed on all day long, but came off without too much scrubbing. And it looked so good!

You can make so many different looks with this one palette. When you’re rushing out the door, you can use a lightly shimmering gold shade called “Taupe” all over your eye lid and pop some highlight with the creamy shade, “Nougat." If you have a bit more time, you can go all out and create a beautiful smokey look with a deep purple-brown shade “Regal” and create the smokey effect with varying shades of grays and blacks, such as “Bark”, a sort of charcoal shade, “Mineral Earth”, a glittery black, or “Noir”, a pitch black. The golds are great for the remainder of this summer and then you can ease into fall with purples and blacks.

I really, really recommend this palette. Good news! They ship to the U.S. and the prices are super fair. This wins on all counts for me!
