#TestedWithLove: Too Faced Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette

I’ll always remember my Too Faced Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette purchase: it was the buy that toppled me over from Beauty Insider- status to VIB, (Very Important Beauty Insider) at Sephora. I’m on top now!

Let’s not dwell the fact that you have to spend 400$+ in one calendar year to reach VIB-status too long. Anyway, it was all worth it. Too Faceknown for their yummy chocolate-scented shadowsdid it again, with a new, stellar shadow palette.

To be honest, I was a little iffy about this palette because of the colors; I loved the darker ones, like Summer Yum, a deep, shimmery brown and Talk Derby To Me, a matte plum shade. But I wasn’t sure how the lighter colors, like Peaches Cream would look on me.

Also, a few of the shades were just a bit out there for me, like Bellini, which is a jade green. But the palette smelled so good (I’m a huge fan of peaches), so I bit the bullet and bought it.

As ever, the quality is A+. Easy to apply and it stays on all day, even without primer...although, primer never hurts!

The shades are actually so versatile and beautiful on everyone! I think these kinds of palettes, with a wide range of colors, are really cool. If you have fairer skin, the lighter shades on the left would totally work on you however you want.

If you have deeper skin, the light shades are perfect for highlighting the brow bone and inner corners of your eyes. In the middle are medium shades. I am in love with these six shades that include two peachy pink colours that I’ve never seen before, the aforementioned jade green, and three bronze/ medium brown shades. T

hey’re just so pretty and seriously look great on everyone. I don’t see pink eyeshadow too much these days and these have hints of red in them, so they don’t really create a throwback effect to the 2000-Gwen Stefani-era-bubblegum-pop days.

On the right are six darker shades: two black tones, two darker browns, the plum and a brick red. These are the perfect shades for creating depth, using in the crease and for perfecting smokey eyes. All the shades apply so smoothly and are super pigmented.

I feel like you can create so many different looks with this one palette, which is one of the reasons I thought it was a good buy. A lot of palettes are for creating one look: nude palettes, smokey palettes, etc. This has a good range of colors without being overly vibrant and having random shades no one would ever use.

I definitely recommend if you’re looking for something new. You can create basic looks, or do something totally different. It’s a good way to perk up your look this year!
