#TestedWithLove: Violet Botanical Skincare

Violet Botanical Skincare is officially my new favorite thing. The skincare comes from the “Land of the Pharaohs” and is rooted in ancient Egyptian aromatherapy and herbalism. The skincare line recreates old Egyptian recipes filled with rich ingredients from natural resources in Africa. Their goal is to provide healthy radiant skin that is pleasantly scented and that protects skin from the sun.

Let me tell you, they achieve it.

Their Egyptian Body Butter is a must-buy! It comes in a blue, glass bottle with the ingredients written on a small piece of paper tied around its silver lid. Shea butter, mango butter and coconut oil give it a nice smooth texture that really moisturizes the skin. It doesn’t make the skin feel too oily either!

With the scents of jasmine and rose, the butter leaves your skin smelling fresh and flowery. Oh and the body butter comes packaged in a velvet bag, making it even more fabulous!

The Queen of Flowers Body Wash is another product that I have fallen in love with.

Violet Botanical Skin Care uses jasmine and rose-scented essential oils to create an obsession-worthy aroma.

The body wash cleans the skin but does not leave it dry (like many other body washes sometimes do). It comes in a similar blue, glass jar with a soap pump, which makes it easier to use. It also arrives wrapped in a black velvet bag. When the velvet bags aren’t being used to tote around my skincare products, I use them as make up bags; they’re the perfect size!

Okay, final verdict. This natural skincare line is hands down one of my favorites (and I’m pretty picky). When it comes to natural skincare products, you never really know what you’re going to get. Violet Botanical Skincare did not disappoint.

From the packaging to the natural ingredients, to the way it makes my skin feel and smell, it’s a skincare standout!
