The Best Primers At Every Price Point

The Best Primers At Every Price Point

Need help finding a face primer? Then keep reading becauuuuse I've done the dirty work for you and have emerged with two affordable and two high-end primers for your consideration. You're very welcome.

Rimmel London Stay Matte Primer

Rimmel London Stay Matte Primer (price varies by retailer)

As a long-time devotee of this primer, I can speak to the greatness of this primer. It typically costs less than $10 (yay) and boasts a lightweight, non-heavy or greasy formula. You probably figured this out from the name, but this keeps your skin and makeup looking matte for up to eight hours and it minimizes the appearance of pores and lines.

NYX Angel Veil Skin Perfecting Primer

Another one of my personal faves! This is an uber-airy primer that smooths and softens, leaving your face prepped and ready for whatever makeup is about to come its way. What more can I even say? It's heavenly and it gets the job done.

Hourglass Cosmetics Veil Mineral Primer

In case you've never heard of them before, Hourglass Cosmetics is known for its luxurious vegan products and fancy packaging.

Their veil mineral primer contains minerals and is oil-free, making it great for all skin types. A little goes a long way and it has SPF 15 skin protection. Is it expensive? Yes. But it's worth the splurge.

Marc Jacobs Beauty Under(Cover) Perfecting Coconut Face Primer

So many beauty gurus rave about this product due to the fact that it is super moisturizing. With five types of coconut worked into its fabulous formula, this hydrating primer is worth the hefty price tag.

Bonus: It smells fantastic and is paraben and sulfate-free.
